Тропа №3 или Альпийская Панорамная тропа начинается в городке Роршах на берегу Боденского озера, идет через кантоны Аппенцелль, Тоггенбург, Центральную Швейцарию, Эмменталь, Шварценбург, Грюйер и заканчивается в Женеве.
По фермерским полям, мимо пастбищ и коровников, через основанные в Средние века городки и деревеньки, мимо виноградников и через сосновые рощи, по альпийским лугам и болотам.
Тропа разбита на 30 этапов, протяженностью от 12 до 32 километров. В этом путешествии мы пройдем только первые 11 из них, общей протяженностью 191 километр от Роршаха до Люцерны.

Вам очень крупно повезло что...» и дальше следовало перечисление благодатей, таких как «мало снега», «нет пурги», «прошла оттепель и вдарил мороз», «прошел вездеход» и так далее и тому подобное. И правда, каждый наш шаг так или иначе озарялся каким либо везением или удачей. Сложности, конечно же, были, но даже они оборачивались какими то бонусами и преференциями…
