Here is the FULL TIMELAPSE of Jake Mace and NicHolistic Yurt Build in the Rain Forest of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. We are living on 8 acres off the grid in the great bear rainforest. This Yurt video shows us clearing the land, building the yurt platform, and building a 30 diameter yurt from Pacific Yurts. In this video I build a permanent lean-to with a stone roof. It was built by myself with mostly young maple trees, poplar bark, flagstone and earth, all gathered from the immediate area of the building site.
No outside materials were used and only 4 tools: a Cold Steel Special Forces Shovel, Cold Steel Spike Hawk, Svord Von Tempsky Bowie and a Svord Pig Sticker.
During the warm months I like to stay away from water to avoid insects. This was built on one of the finger ridges of the middle ridge of the property and is nice and dry.
The build took five days to complete and I stayed out there during that time period. Food consisted of a pound and a half of pemmican, half a pound of jerky and approximately 5 liters of water each day.
Due to our location up in the Appalachian mountains sound travels very far and the distant train can be heard along with the occasional survey helicopter (especially during the hand drill fire)
This is our first video and as our channel grows the first investment well make is high quality cameras, microphones and a decent computer. Until then well go with what we got and keep shooting.

I was busy with some movie soundtracks I liked and decided to share this on YouTube. Its a personal selection of emotional and relaxing songs from drama and epic movies. It can be used for relaxing, studying, reading, working or other personal intentions.
The most of the songs are very popular and well known as do their movies.
Casanova is maybe the «strange bird» in the selection because its more of a comedy than a drama, but it includes also some dramatic moments with an amazing and fitting soundtrack.
To be clear Im not quitting or changing my channels purpose. I will continue with making video games compilations. But sometimes by coincidence I make something different like now.

Полдня я поднимался из посёлка на высоте 3600 на гору-пятитысячник, чтобы осмотреть долину с другой стороны и озёра наверху. Я в той долине уже был с другой стороны — внизу, но там невозможно подняться из-за обрыва, где видны водопады. Ближе к вечеру начал немного сыпать снежок, но квадрокоптеру это не помеха.
В конце видео видно куда я забрался — там только горные козлы прыгают и нормальные туристы на ту сторону склона не ходят)))
На картах гугл можно найти легко это место — Annapurna national park, на север от Bhakra на горе есть два озерца Ice Lake, вот от них ещё севернее на другую сторону от вершины.
Это место примерно на середине моего похода, что составил суммарно 250 км пешком с перепадами высоты по 700-1000 метров в сутки. Начал я с 700 м над уровнем моря, а высшая точка маршрута была на перевале Торонг-Ла — залез на 5555 н.у.м. Сделаю вскоре видео и с тех мест!
Маршрут проходил в одиночестве, был счастлив чрезвычайно!
Всем рекомендую горы Непала, это просто нужно попробовать.

НАПОМИНАЮ
что нужно устанавливать разрешение ролика в максимально возможное, пока компьютер и канал связи ещё смогут достаточно плавно справляться — 1440p или 2160р, а то и 8k! Даже если монитор не поддерживает это разрешение, то всё равно качество видео заметно улучшится.

▶ ВИЛЛА БАРОНЕССЫ РОТШИЛЬД
Построенная 100 лет назад вилла Беатрис Эфрусси-де-Ротшильд расположилась на 9 гектарах земли, купленной некогда у бельгийского короля. Все комнаты виллы посвящены французскому 18 веку, так Беатрис увлекалась этим периодом и собирала предметы живописи этого периода. Елена расскажет нам о династии Ротшильдов, о самой Беатрис, её судьбе и наследии, а также других интересных фактах. Я здесь побывал во второй раз и буду рад побывать ещё не единожды! Вилла находится в 40 минутах от Ниццы. Отсюда открываются просто невероятные виды и гулять здесь – одно удовольствие.
▶ НИЦЦА СТАРЫЙ ГОРОД
Побываем в самом старом винном погребе Ниццы с 1860 года – ему более 155 лет. Он был создан в период присоединения Ниццы к Франции. Ницца с давних давен город творческий – так как в военные времена здесь пряталась от нацистов творческая элита. В видео я поделюсь с вами своими впечатлениями от этого города, который меня нереально вдохновляет. Также, обязательно заглянем в отель Negresco – это самый известный отель Ниццы, в котором со времен основания в 1913 году всегда останавливаются богатые и знаменитые от Майкла Джексона до Юрия Гагарина.
▶ СЕН-ПОЛЬ-ДЕ-ВАНС.
Дальше отправимся в уютный городок в 30-40 минутах от Ниццы – Сен-Поль-де-Ванс. Здесь мы заглянем в местную художественную галерею. Она существует 30 лет и в ней находятся картины таких художников как Пикассо, Шагал, Матисс и других. Мы побеседуем с владелицей этой галереи и узнаем о ценах на предметы искусства и о том, чем примечательна эта галлерея.
▶ РЕСТОРАН «ЗОЛОТАЯ ГОЛУБКА»
Ресторан «Золотая голубка» был открыт в 1928 году и очень быстро стал центром тусовки французской богемы. Сюда захаживали Матисс, Пикассо, Шагал, Лежер и другие знаменитые художники. Уже в 60-70-е годы ресторан стал местом притяжения знаменитых актеров и актрис, среди которых были, например, Ив Монтан и Симона Синьоре.
▶ КАННЫ, МОНАКО И ДЕРЕВНЯ ЭЗ
К сожалению, Канны не порадовали хорошей погодой – шел ливень, потому показать много не удалось. Дальше быстренько прогуляемся в деревню Эз и отправимся в крошечное государство Монако. Цены на недвижимость в самом недорогом районе Монако стартуют от €25 000/кв.м., в среднем же цена составляет от €37 000/кв.м.
